Spaghetti with mozzarella and cherry tomatoes

A dish so so simple that it is almost ashamed to publish it. However, when I tried it for the first time I found it simply spectacular so I wanted to share it with you. I hope you like it as much as we do !! Of course at home whenever I prepare it, it is a sure success.

It is a dish as simple and humble as spaghetti like cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls. However, when taken at room temperature the mozzarella melts, and highlights the flavor of olive oil with oregano that are unique. And later, the tomato gives it great juiciness. We have used cherry tomatoes, but any semi-ripe tomato cut into squares will do.

It is a good option if you have to take food with you in the tupperware because it conserves phenomenally.

Simply spectacular: spaghetti with mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. A healthy, nutritious and low calorie main dish.

Ingredients

• 500 g pasta (preferably spaghetti)
• 250 g of mozzarella (can be in cubes or individual balls)
• 200 g tomatoes (cherry or diced)
• plenty of water to cook the pasta
• shawl
• pepper
• oregano to taste
• 50 g olive oil

Preparation

1. Put in a pot plenty of salted water and a drizzle of oil until it boils. Cook the pasta for the time indicated on the package. Generally, some spaghetti will be ready in about 8-10 minutes.

2. While the pasta is cooking, chop the mozzarella and tomato and add them to a bowl.

3. When the pasta is cooked, drain it and add the mozzarella and tomato.

4. We water with the olive oil, salt and pepper to taste. We mix well. We finish with oregano, also to our liking.

5. We stir well and ready to drink. It is important to take it at the moment so that the mozzarella becomes honeyed.
