We recommend this typical Almería squid recipe for children because they are very tender that way. They are cooked slowly in the oven or in a casserole confit in plenty of oil. Yes indeed, We advise you to make it with fresh squid so that they are tasty and tender. You can serve it with baked potatoes or rice and you already have a round plate.

Ingredients

  • Squid
  • olive oil
  • shawl
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • black peppercorns

Preparation

  1. Clean the inside of the squid well and dry it with kitchen paper.

  2. In a casserole or baking dish we put the seasoned squid together with the bay leaves, the head of garlic and the peppercorns to taste

  3. Cover everything well with oil and cook over very low heat or in a low oven for about an hour until the squid is tender.
