With the onion as the protagonist, this recipe is one of the ones I like the most to prepare for a night when you don't want to get too complicated in the kitchen. It is super simple to prepare, the first thing we have to do is give the onions a roasted touch in the oven, then we will only have to fill them and grill them. Very simple!
Onions stuffed with bacon and cheese
With the onion as the protagonist, this recipe is one of my favorites to prepare for a night in which you don't want to complicate too much, and everyone likes it

Ingredients
- 4 medium onions
- Olive oil
- Sal Island
- Pepper
- 300 gr of bacon cubes
- 250 gr of grated cheddar cheese
- A handful of fresh spinach, thinly sliced
- A very chopped onion
Preparation
We put the oven to preheat and remove the onion skins, paint them with a little olive oil, salt and pepper.
We roll them in aluminum foil and bake them for about 40 minutes at 180 degrees. After that time, we remove the aluminum foil and let them cool.
We turn the oven back on and bacon the bacon until it is crispy (about 5-8 minutes).
We turn on the oven again.
In a bowl, mix the bacon, cheese and spinach together with salt and pepper. We carefully empty the onions and the inside of one of them we split it very finally and mix it together with the bacon, cheese and spinach mixture.
We are filling each of the onions with the mixture, and we bake them on a baking tray for about 20 minutes until we see that the cheese has completely melted.
