Surprise bags of cheese and prawns

A starter in the form of a surprise gift. Ideal for a Christmas menu for children. Children with food can sometimes be delicate and do not want surprises that they do not like, so the filling of these bags is made for them. The prawns and the cheese spread are quite popular with the little ones.

The packages are made with brick pasta, of Maghreb origin. This pasta is a type of flour dough that is sold refrigerated or frozen in the form of thin wafers and that being very flexible allows us to cook dishes in different ways that when cooked have a very crunchy texture.

When working with this dough it is important to follow the handling instructions, because as it is thin, it dries very quickly and can crack. It is therefore advisable to keep it fresh and paint it with butter or oil to handle it.

Ingredients

• 1 brick of white cheese to spread
• 6 sheets of phyllo dough
• 100 g of peeled prawns
• a few spinach leaves
• Liquid candy
• chive
• oil
• shawl

Preparation

1. We make a mixture with the cheese and the prawns.

2. Sauté the spinach and mix them with the cheese.

3. We cut the pasta sheets into approximately 15 × 15 squares and put a little of the filling in each square. We collect the ends and close them with the help of a strip of chives.

4. Spray with butter or oil and bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes.

5. We decorate the plate with liquid caramel.
