Taboulé, couscous salad

Taboulé is a cold couscous dish typical of Moroccan cuisine. Tenderized in lemon juice, it usually contains very finely chopped vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers and onions, and some aromatic herbs such as coriander and mint.

As it is a salad, we can play with its ingredients to adapt it to the children's taste. Change the herbs, add some vegetables of your liking and some other ingredients such as legumes, cheeses or derivatives of meat or fish.

Besides as a salad, the taboule can be served as a garnish. It goes very well with grilled fish and meat like hake or chicken.
