Ingredients
- Our recipe for Nocilla cake
- Puffed rice to decorate
- Nocilla type chocolate cream to decorate
- Some chocolate coins
- White chocolate powder
Preparation
For the cake, we recommend that you follow our Nocilla cake recipe, perfect for those with a sweet tooth and with a lot of chocolate.
Make the cake on a rectangular surface following the recipe instructions, and when you have done it, let it cool. Once we have it cold, we cut the edges of the cake to make it completely rectangular and at the same time we cut it in half. And we will use one of the lids as the upper part of the cake and the other as the lower part of our treasure chest.
Now comes the turn to decorate each of the covers of our cake. To do this, we will carefully smear it with chocolate cream both on the upper lid and on the lower lid, leaving the center of each cake without cream, which will be where our coins will go.
Once we have the layer of chocolate cream on, we decorate the treasure cake with puffed rice, as we like, and place the chocolate coins on the lower lid.
We cover with the top cover and we will have our chest ready.
To simulate that the chest is on the sand, we will place the cake on a tray and we will put white chocolate powder all over the tray, which will perfectly simulate the beach sand of our treasure cake.
