In the color you can see that our bread carries turmeric, this spice that has so many properties. And it also shows in its flavor.
It is a brioche bread because we are going to put egg and butter. Like all breads, we will have to respect the rising times ... but be patient, the result is worth it.
It is perfect as bread to make toasts. I leave you some recommendations that, I am sure, you are going to love: Avocado cream, Surimi pate, tuna and olives, Pickled chicken and arugula
Turmeric bread
This bread is perfect for our savory toasts.

Ingredients
- 500 g of bread flour
- 250 g of water
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric
- 45 g honey
- 50 g butter at room temperature
- 3 g dry baker's yeast
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 egg
- Beaten egg for brushing
Preparation
Put the flour, water, honey, yeast, egg and turmeric in a bowl.
We mix everything.
Add the butter and salt.
We knead for at least 5 minutes.
We cover with a plastic and leave for approximately 30 minutes.
After that time we knead again with our hands and divide the dough into three equal parts.
We make a ball with each portion and put it in a plum cake mold.
We cover with a plastic.
We let the dough rise again. This time two or three hours, until we see that the dough has increased in volume.
After that time we brush the surface with beaten egg.
Bake at 180º (preheated oven) for approximately 40 minutes.
We unmold it and let it cool on a rack.
