Grelos with chilli

Lets go cook turnip greens, which are now in season. We are going to prepare them as an aperitif, sautéed with garlic and chilli and on toasted bread.

Buy them even if you do not usually consume them because they are easy to clean and are very rich, even in preparations as simple as today. 

The most tender leaves and flowers are eaten from turnip greens, very similar to broccoli. In order to clean them We will proceed as with any other vegetables: washing them to remove the remains of earth, discarding the hardest leaves or those that are not healthy and cutting the base of each stem.

Our best known dish with this vegetable is Lacon with turnip tops but it doesn't hurt to know that we can consume it in other preparations. Today's recipe is good proof of this.
