Very easy apple puff pastry

Few desserts are simpler than the one we show you today. We will need very few ingredients. The main ones are a rectangular puff pastry sheet (which you will find in the refrigerated section of any supermarket) and some apples.

Take a look at the step-by-step photos because in them we show you how easy it is to prepare. We will put the chopped apple, cinnamon and sugar in the center of the sheet. Then we will make some cuts to that sheet and we will place the strips on the apple. A little milk and sugar and… baked!

You can serve both hot and cold. Those yes, if you accompany it with some scoops of ice cream like this cream and vanilla you will succeed for sure.

A very simple dessert that we can accompany with a scoop of cream or vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients
  • 1 rectangular puff pastry sheet
  • 3 golden apples, pippin or other variety
  • A splash of lemon juice
  • Two or three tablespoons of sugar
  • A teaspoon of cinnamon
  • A little milk to paint the surface
Preparation
  1. We remove the puff pastry sheet from the refrigerator.
  2. We peel, core and chop the apples. We add a little lemon juice to them so they don't rust.
  3. We spread the puff pastry sheet, keeping the baking paper sheet at the base. We can even place the puff pastry, on this sheet of paper, on the baking tray.
  4. We distribute the apple in the center of the puff pastry, as seen in the image.
  5. Sprinkle about two tablespoons of sugar on the apple. Also cinnamon.
  6. We make some cuts in the part of the puff pastry that is without apple, as seen in the photo.
  7. We put those strips on the apple.
  8. We paint the surface of our dessert with a little milk.
  9. Sprinkle the rest of the sugar on the surface.
  10. Bake at 180º (preheated oven) for approximately 30 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden.
