We have run out of hand with the salt and, by no means, are we going to waste that food. We propose a few easy tricks adapted to different types of recipes.
- For brothy soups or stews or with sauce, we must put a glass of soda to correct excess salt.
- If we are making a stew with little sauce, such as stew or meat, bread can solve the salt problem for us. We will put a bread roll cut in half in the stew, we will sprinkle with a little water and let it cook for a few minutes until the bread rises and sucks the remaining broth. Will the salty aftertaste disappear?
- The potato trick is more classic. we leave a potato medium in half (it also depends on the amount of food) and cook for about 15 minutes on the plate. It is usually valid for meals with sauces and soups.
- If it is a cream, we can put the cooked and pureed potato directly and mix it well. It is also effective to put a jet of cream. Of course, the flavor of the cream is slightly lowered, but yes, it will be edible as it is not so salty.
