York ham sushi, with what filling?

This appetizer that imitates sushi is easier to make than we think and allows us to eat rice, cooked ham (or serrano) and an ingredient such as vegetables or cheese in the same bite. There are infinite possible combinations to fill these ham rolls, we will give you two ideas.

1. On a slice of ham we spread a little white cheese to spread. We have a thin layer on top of rice cooked, season with salt and pepper and at one end we put some thin cucumber sticks. We roll the sushi and refrigerate it. When it is more consistent, we cut it into slices.

2. Another option that renew the classic melon with ham. Once the slice of ham has been buttered, we put a thick strip of melon on one of its ends. We roll the ham over the fruit and cut into slices. We put on each sushi a little avocado or kiwi, for example. The important thing is to achieve a contrast of colors and flavors.
