Canapés ideas for these holidays (II)

Yesterday we already proposed some very suitable canapé recipes for this coming Christmas. Today we want to point out some more ideas to dress our table in the best of finery for these upcoming dates. These are simple elaborations, although they require a special care and dedication so that the assembly is perfect.

Canapes delight children and are a perfect way to try that they eat some products with which they normally do not dare, such as piquillo peppers, pumpkin or tomatoes cherry.

Crispy ham canapes

Ingredients: Serrano ham, pumpkin, butter, sugar, quail eggs, chives
Preparation: Cut the Serrano ham into pieces "one bite" and fry them in hot oil to make them crisp. In a saucepan, we make a pumpkin jam with the butter and sugar. We put a little on our chip of ham and topped with a half cooked quail egg garnished with a few stems of chives.

Canapes bacon and yogurt

Ingredients: Bacon smoked, white cheese spread, natural yogurt, dill, basil, sliced ​​bread.
Preparation: We cut the sliced ​​bread into small squares and toast it lightly. We cut the bacon in strips leaving only the lean part. We mix the white cheese with the natural yogurt and the dill. We mount a tablespoon of yogurt sauce on each square of bread and on top we arrange, in a bulky way, the strips of bacon. Sprinkle with a pinch of fresh basil.

Bittersweet skewers

Ingredients: Tomatoes cherry, Feta cheese, quail eggs, soy sauce, honey.
Preparation: At the end of some wooden skewer sticks we skewer a cooked quail egg, a tomato cherry and a dice of Feta cheese. We water with a sauce made from a mixture of soy sauce and honey mixed little by little so that it has an optimal consistency and does not slip off the skewer.

Piquillo tartlets

Ingredients: piquillo peppers, white cheese spread, anchovies, mini-volavant tartlets.
Preparation: In a blender, we make a fine paste with the white cheese and the piquillo peppers. Fill the tartlets with this mixture and top with a rolled anchovy.

Goat cheese canapes with honey

Ingredients: Goat cheese stick, honey, toasted rolls
Preparation: Cut the goat cheese into slices and place each one on a slice of toasted bread (if it is round, better, more harmonious), sprinkle with a little honey.
