I have a question: have you used the grill or just the microwave? I say it because I just did it and mine is clear about everything.
We can use the microwave combined with the grill if yours admits it, if you cannot toast it a little with the grill just taking care that the cake does not dry out.
I just put it in the microwave and I don't know if it will work without milk but I think it will.
