The brownie is an American chocolate cake similar to sponge cake, but with a much more compact and creamy texture. We present in this post a very energetic brownie, therefore ideal for breakfast since, in addition to the basic ingredients and chocolate, it has a banana.. Nuts are usually added, as we have done adding walnuts.

Ingredients

  • 450 gr. dark chocolate fondant
  • 200 gr. unsalted butter
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup pastry flour
  • a little less than a cup of sugar
  • 1 spoonful of cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • chopped nuts.

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, mash the bananas together with the eggs.

  2. Add to this mixture the flour, sugar, cocoa and yeast

  3. Knead well and at the end add the melted chocolate and butter to the bain-marie

  4. Mix well again and add the chopped walnuts

  5. Pour the dough into a previously greased and floured mold or with non-stick paper and bake at 180 degrees for 1 hour

  6. We do the toothpick test, which should come out a little wet, because that is the grace of the brownie, that it is compact but somewhat juicy

  7. Let rest for a few minutes in the oven and let cool out of the oven.

  8. Unmold and cut into small individual portions.
