Melon and raspberry crumble

We resort to crumble when we need a simple dessert that is done in a short time. You already know that it is about chopping the fruit and mixing it with that dough of butter, sugar and flour and baking. This British dessert is a great way for kids to eat fruit. Especially in summer, we can make it more attractive if we serve it with a scoop of ice cream, whipped cream or cold custard.

Ingredients

• 350 gr. melon pulp
• 150 gr. raspberries
• 100 gr. cold butter
• 100 gr. Of flour
• 70 gr. almond powder
• 100 gr. brown sugar
• a pinch of salt

Preparation

1. We preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

2. Cut the butter fresh from the fridge into small cubes. Mix it with the flour, ground almonds, sugar and salt. A lumpy dough is achieved by pinching the ingredients with your fingers.

3. Chop the fruit and place it in a mold suitable for the oven. Cover the fruit with the lumps of dough.

4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the surface is well browned.

5. We serve hot.
