We usually enjoy endives in salad and dressed with Roquefort. Its bitter taste balances very well with the strong and salty of the cheese. Apart from cold, we can enjoy the endives with roquefort hot, gratin them.

Ingredients

  • 3 endives
  • 250 gr. of bechamel
  • 100 gr. by roquefort
  • peeled nines
  • parsley
  • 1 garlic clove
  • olive oil or butter
  • pepper
  • shawl

Preparation

  1. Heat the béchamel in a saucepan without letting it boil and add the crumbled Roquefort cheese to bind it well.

  2. We heat the oven to about 200 degrees. Meanwhile, cut the endives in half, wash them and dry them well with kitchen paper. Place the endives in a baking dish. We wet them with a drizzle of olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake the endives for about 10 minutes.

  3. Make a mash or mincemeat with the walnuts, the parsley and the peeled garlic clove.

  4. We put béchamel with roquefort on top of the endives and add the mixture of nuts. Gratinate the endives for as many minutes.
