Carnival is coming! And what better way to celebrate this explosion of color than with cookies like these. They are some delicious pasta, which we color in a very simple way by adding sugar noodles (for sale in the pastry section of large stores). They keep great for 4-5 days in an airtight container or tin and make a great gift.

Carnival is coming! And to celebrate it we are going to prepare some delicious cookies to liven up our breakfast or snacks

Ingredients

150 g flour
125 g icing sugar
125 butter g
25 g honey
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla essence or vanilla sugar
3 tablespoons colored noodles

Preparation

In a large bowl we put the butter to the point of ointment, add the honey and mix well. Add the icing sugar, and the vanilla (or the essence) and 1 egg, mixing vigorously.
Add the flour with the spices and knead. Add the colored noodles and stir with a wooden spoon or spatula to distribute well. We cover the dough with a clean cloth and refrigerate for a couple of hours or put half an hour in the freezer.
When it has hardened in the cold, sprinkle a smooth surface with a little flour. We make balls about the size of a walnut with the dough. Place the balls on the baking tray on parchment paper or on a silicone sheet (leave enough separation as they will grow; better make two batches) and bake for 12-13 minutes or until golden (but not toasted).
Let cool completly on a rack.
