Ingredients

  • Yolks 8
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of beer
  • 1 cup of whipping cream

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until a consistent, pale-colored mixture is formed.

  2. In a saucepan, we put the cream and the beer over low heat for a couple of minutes without stopping stirring.

  3. Slowly add the mixture of sugar and egg yolks and continue stirring until the mixture has a very thick and creamy consistency, similar to melting ice cream. Let rest for a few minutes off the heat.

  4. Place the saucepan with the ice cream on a large bowl with ice cubes. When it's cold, we put it in the freezer and wait for it to solidify. Every 45 minutes is good and stirring the ice cream so it doesn't crystallize.
