For this reason, we have to take advantage of both the good price they have now, as well as their flavor, since this is one of the months where we can find more flavorful and large mussels. For this recipe today, I recommend that the mussel be Galician. Much more flavor and of our land. Delicious!

Ingredients

  • 40 Galician mussels
  • 200 ml of liquid cream
  • Celery
  • 1 fresh chives
  • 150 ml of white wine
  • Parsley for sprinkling

Preparation

  1. In a frying pan we put a little olive oil and let it heat up.

  2. Chop the celery very finely and add it to the oil along with the chives, also very finely chopped. We clean the mussels and remove their whiskers and put them in water with a little salt.

  3. Sauté the chives and celery until they are transparent and when they are, add the white wine and mussels.

  4. We cover the saucepan so that the mussels open up. When we see that they have all opened, we add the liquid cream and let everything start to boil.

  5. Once it boils, lower the heat to a minimum for about 8 minutes. We tasted the sauce and corrected for salt. Add a touch of nutmeg and parsley.

Only the shells will remain as soon as you taste them !!
