We go with other custards without eggs but rich in milk, both animal and coconut. To give more color and contrast the flavor of the custard, we can Accompany them with syrup, ice cream or chocolate cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of coconut milk (400 ml.)
  • 150 ml. milk
  • 200 ml. liquid cream (18% fat)
  • 50 gr. grated coconut
  • 125 gr. sugar
  • 35 gr. by Maizena

Preparation

  1. Dissolve the cornstarch with the milk.

  2. In a saucepan, mix the coconut milk, cream, sugar, grated coconut and cornflour dissolved in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the cream thickens.

  3. Pour the custard into serving bowls and let cool to room temperature before putting them in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
