We use Guinness beer as an ingredient again, this time to prepare a cheddar cheese pate that is delicious. you will not stop spreading

Ingredients

  • 250 g of grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter (soft)
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese (Philadelphia type)
  • 1/3 cup of Guinness beer
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 ½ teaspoons old mustard (the one used for pimples)
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (Lea & Perrins)
  • a pinch of freshly ground black pepper or to taste
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper or to taste
  • chopped parsley
  • a pinch of salt if necessary.

Preparation

  1. In a food processor or in the mixer's chopper, we grind the cheeses with the butter, the beer and the mustards until it is homogeneous

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients (the chopped spring onion, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, cayenne pepper and parsley).

  3. Blend until everything is incorporated

  4. We taste salt and rectify

  5. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it rest in the fridge for at least a couple of hours.

  6. When serving, let it cool down and serve with bread, crackers, or nachos
