We already have cherries on the market. Its flavor between sour and sweet and its beautiful color will permeate the sauce of this recipe for baked chicken breasts. Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 3 handfuls of pitted cherries
  • 1/2 cup of water (125 ml.)
  • 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons cherry jam
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • pepper
  • oil
  • shawl

Preparation

  1. We preheat the oven to 200 degrees and start with the recipe. Season the breasts with salt and pepper and brown them on both sides in a large frying pan with oil.

  2. Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet and cook until completely tender, about 20-30 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, in a pot, cook the cherries over low heat with the water, vinegar and sugar. Lightly crush the cherries with a fork until they release their juices, add the jam and let the sauce reduce for a few minutes.

  4. Pour the cherry sauce over the pan with the breasts so that it soaks up the baking juices.

  5. We serve.
