Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breast
  • 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 yogurt
  • 2 onions
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 400 ml coconut milk
  • Coriander to garnish

Preparation

  1. We cut the chicken breasts into bite pieces.

  2. Prepare a container and put all the spices in it along with the yogurt and lemon juice. We mix everything well and let it marinate for about 6 hours in the fridge (or overnight to get more flavor).

  3. After this time, we prepare a saucepan with a little olive oil.

  4. Cut the onions into julienne strips and poach them with a little olive oil.

  5. When we see that the onions begin to brown, add the chicken and let it cook for a few minutes.

  6. After 5 minutes we put the coconut sauce, the tomato paste and the masala sauce that we have resting on.

  7. Then we let everything cook for 15 minutes over low heat so that all the ingredients are mixed.

  8. We serve our Chicken Tikka Masala with a little cilantro on top
