By the way, Spain has not fared badly in these awards, as we have achieved five.

Ingredients

1,5 l. whole milk
200 gr. round rice (bomba or arborio)
a pinch of salt
2 tablespoons sugar
100 gr. ground almonds
1 vanilla bean
400 ml. whipping cream
red fruit jam

Preparation

Put the milk, rice, salt and vanilla pod in the Thermomix glass. We program 45 minutes at 100 degrees, with a left turn and spoon speed. We can also do it in a saucepan using the traditional method. It is enough that the rice is tender.
Mix the rice while still hot with the crushed almonds, the sugar and the vanilla seeds, which we will have to open to extract them. Let it cold down.
Before serving, we mount the cream and mix it with the dessert.
Dessert is served cold and covered with cold or hot jam. It is actually the jam that sweetens the pudding.
