Today is June 13 and we celebrate Saint Anthony's Day. In many towns in Spain they celebrate it with these delicious donuts with all the flavor of grandmothers' pastries.

Celebrate San Antonio's day with this typical sweet that you can prepare at home at home with this recipe

Ingredients

  • 500 gr. lard
  • 250 gr. sugar
  • 1 kg. Of flour
  • 3 egg yolks + 2 whole eggs

Preparation

  1. With our hands we beat the butter with the sugar, add one of the two eggs and the yolks, along with the flour.

  2. We knead everything very well, put the dough on the table, pass the rolling pin and cut the donuts with a mold or a glass.

  3. With another smaller object we make the hole.

  4. Paint the donuts with beaten egg and a little sugar.

  5. We put them on a tray covered with parchment paper and cook in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until golden.

  6. Let them cool on a grid.
