400 gr. Of flour
100 gr. of butter
100 ml. Of olive oil
2-3 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
the zest of the skin of 1 lemon
a handful of almonds chopped in crocanti
cinnamon powder
a pinch of salt
sugar glass

Preparation

Mix the butter with the sugar and salt in a deep bowl. Then we incorporate flour, yeast, lemon zest. The oil will serve us to help us knead better and join the ingredients until we achieve a compact dough, a little sandy, but that it detaches from the container. At the last minute, we add the almonds and integrate them into the dough.
We take pieces of the dough and shape the donuts to the size we prefer. We place them well separated from each other on a baking tray covered with parchment paper.
We cook the donuts in a preheated oven at 150 degrees for about 30 minutes or until they are golden. Let them cool on a rack and sprinkle them with powdered sugar and cinnamon.

Notes

Other flavors: Orange, tangerine or grapefruit peel and some spices such as cloves or cardamom can give these donuts a special touch.
