Nothing like a good plate of chickpeas with chorizo to recover energy during the day, and if we add more ingredients, the combination is even tastier.

Ingredients

400 gr. cooked chickpeas
100 gr. pumpkin
a little cooking broth (or chicken)
1 green pepper
1 cebolla
2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of dried tomato powder
cayenne pepper
pepper
oil

Preparation

We start by finely chopping the garlic, onion and pepper. Cut the pumpkin into cubes and thinly slice the chorizo or chop it.
Lightly brown the chorizo in a saucepan with oil and remove it.
In that same oil, we poach the pumpkin with a little salt and pepper. We withdraw.
We put the remaining vegetables in the saucepan and fry them until they are tender and poached. Then, we add the chickpeas and the pumpkin, season with the tomato and paprika to taste and wet with a little broth so that the stew cooks for a few minutes and the flavors blend.
At the last moment we added the chorizo to the chickpeas and rectified the salt point.

Notes

Easier: Use quality canned chickpeas if you want to speed up the recipe process, saving you from having to soak and boil them.
