Miso soup, the Japanese "hot soup"

Miso soup is the queen of soups in Japanese cuisine. Its main ingredients are fish broth (dry bonito) or dashi and the same, a flavored paste of soybeans. To make it more complete, the miso soup usually includes cubes of tofu, seaweed and some vegetables or mushrooms.

This soup always accompanies other dishes at breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves to warm the body and whet our appetite.

These ingredients are now easy to find in specialized oriental food stores.
