The Ministry of the Environment, Rural and Marine Affairs (MARM) has launched through the web Alimentacion.es The Frutijuego: The great game of fruits and vegetables, a virtual game in which children, parents and teachers can find educational content and educational and fun games, with the intention of conveying the healthy message of eating fruit and vegetables at least 5 times a day.
The Frutijuego is framed within the different measures of the National Fruit Plan in Schools which aims to contribute to the increase in the consumption of fruits and vegetables among the school population, as well as to spread healthy habits and reduce obesity and other associated diseases. We remind you that the Government of Spain has already taken measures to educate children in healthy and balanced nutrition to prevent obesity from school through the Perseus Program
The mechanics of El Frutijuego is based on the spin of a roulette wheel through which you get fruit points if you solve some of the 150 questions with virtual help of "The Wise Book of Fruits and Vegetables", which includes a total of 53 information sheets on vegetables and fruits. The Frutijuego also contains maps with the Quality Denominations of fruits and vegetables that exist in Spain; a calendar of the seasonal fruit; The different bells of fruits and vegetables made by MARM, with all the materials (posters, brochures, advertising spot, etc.); fun wallpapers and screensavers; as well as games educational and fun such as Alimentraining, the Mixer and the Kaleidoscope.
