We propose three homemade pâté recipes to accompany any starter

Ingredients

Spider crab pate:

  • A can of anchovies
  • A can of natural mussels (very important)
  • Some crab sticks
  • mayonnaise
  • 1/4 sweet onion
  • 1/2 stopper of fine dry wine

Anchovies Pate:

  • 200 gr of Philadelphia cheese
  • A can of anchovies (8 or 10 anchovies)

Mussels Pate:

  • A can of mussels
  • 4 small cheeses «El Caserío»

Preparation

  1. To prepare it, we will begin by putting the same amount of mussels, sticks, anchovies in the blender glass (which we will pass through cold water to remove the remains of salt), and 1/4 of the onion.

  2. We will beat everything until we get a thick texture. Add the fino with two tablespoons of mayonnaise and mix again.

  3. Finally, we cut the 4 rather thin crab sticks with a knife, and we remove everything without beating, since these sticks are the ones that will give the crab meat texture.

  4. Put the cheese together with the anchovies in the blender glass and blend everything until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

  5. As in the two previous pâtés, we will put the can of mussels and the four little cheeses in the blender glass and we will beat everything until we get a homogeneous texture.

  6. To present the patés, accompany them with a variety of toasted bread or breadsticks.
