Fresh puff pastry
I beaten egg
filling o Butter for cakes
strawberry syrup or other topping Red

Preparation

We cover a baking tray with non-stick paper.
Now we cut the dough into strips as long as possible and rectangular (about 2-3 cm.). Join half of the strips at the narrower ends to form a larger one.
Do the same with the rest of the dough to obtain two puff pastry extensions. We have to press the dough joints well with our fingers so that they do not open during baking.
Carefully fill the center of each strip of dough with the filling, leaving a little space on each side to close the puff pastry.
Paint the edges with a little egg and close with the other strip of dough, squeezing the ends well.
Carefully lift the intestine and transfer it to the baking tray, forming folds like the ones in the photo.
Paint the dough again with beaten egg. Bake for about 20 minutes at about 190 degrees until the puff pastry is golden.
We decorate with the red topping to simulate blood.
