Canapes for this Christmas

At Christmas we usually eat more than normal, and as is tradition, every meal and dinner begins with good canapes. Do not miss our ideas to make delicious, different and delicious canapes.

Philadelphia Christmas Tree and Pesto Sauce

It is a most colorful and easy starter. We'll cut a block of Philadelphia cheese in the shape of a triangle on a plate, so that it resembles as much as possible a Christmas tree. On this triangular block we will make a pesto sauce , in which we will use a avocado, a tomato and a pepper that we will start into very small squares and mix until it is completely uniform. To finish, you just have to put it on our tree. The tree trunk will be a bread stick. We will serve it with muffins or crackers.

Mozzarella balls with bacon and tomato

If you like cheese, this is a starter that will not disappoint and that you will make in no time. We will only need mozzarella pearls, bacon strips and a few tomato slices. We will start by putting in a pan the bacon to make it grilled, and once ready we will start with the plate. On a tray we will put the mozzarella pearl, on it a tomato wedge and on it we will wrap the bacon strip, and we will join everything with a toothpick. We can dress with a touch of modena sauce. Delicious!

Cream cheese balls with nuts

We will use the cream cheeses that we want. It is best to choose three cheeses to make it perfect, one softer, another medium and one with a stronger touch. We will beat the three cheeses with the help of the mixer, and we will make small balls. Once ready, we will leave them in the fridge so that they take body for at least 30 minutes, and while we will prepare the batter. For this one special batter we will crush almonds, walnuts and cashews until they are in very small pieces. We will take the balls out of the refrigerator and we will coat them one by one with our special coating.

Eggs stuffed with olive pate

They are some stuffed but different eggs. To prepare them you will need a dozen eggs, a bag of pitted green olives, a little salt, a natural tomato, olive oil and pepper. We will start cooking the eggs, and while we prepare the filling. We put the olives, the natural tomato, a splash of olive oil and the cooked yolk of each of the eggs with the salt and pepper in the blender until they are completely crushed. After this we will fill each of the eggs with the mixture. We can present them with a little mayonnaise on top.

Gorgonzola cheese and pear toast

It is a delicious mix of gorgonzola cheese about a slice of freshly toasted bread and pear. We start by preparing the slice of bread, toast it and add the gorgonzola cheese to it. On the cheese we put a few chopped walnuts, and the peeled pear pieces. By last we put a little dehydrated ham on each of the toasts That we will do in the oven for about 10 minutes until it is perfect.

Cheese, minced meat and caramelized onion toast

La caramelized onion is a real treat that gives a different touch to any toast. In this toast we will put toast the bread and place a piece of goat cheese on it that we will have gone through the pan round and round. Once ready we will begin to prepare our minced meat with a little oil, salt, pepper and a splash of white wine. We will let it rest while we prepare the caramelized onion, in another pan, letting it poach and adding two tablespoons of sugar for each onion until it reduces. Finally we compose our toast so that it is perfect.

Cherry tomatoes, light cream cheese and green olives
