If you have a sweet tooth… .. It is… And this is a most original dessert for this Christmas. These are caramelised pears with a special touch, that of vanilla ice cream.

They are super easy to prepare, we also use very few ingredients and we will stain very little. Do you want to know how they are prepared? Take note!

Ingredients

  • 15 grams of butter
  • 3 medium Conference pears or similar
  • 60 grams of brown sugar
  • 15 ml of mineral water
  • Sal Island
  • Vanilla powder

To serve and decorate

  • Vanilla ice cream with Macadamia nuts

Preparation

  1. Remove the tails from the pears, cut them in half and turn into small quarters. Dishearten them and leave them reserved. Now, we caramelize them. To do this, we put the pan over medium heat with a little butter. Let the butter melt and place the pears, cooking them until golden brown (about 3/4 minutes). We lower the heat and cook for about 5 more minutes.

  2. We turn the pears, putting the other part cut down and cook for about 5 more minutes.

  3. We add the brown sugar and water, and stir a little to distribute everything well in the bottom of the pan.

  4. We let it cook for a couple of minutes and we turn the pears over, putting the skin so that it touches the pan. We let everything cook for another 6 minutes over medium-low heat so that the sauce thickens and the caramel is created.

  5. We serve them on plates and accompany them with vanilla ice cream and Macadamia nuts.
