This appetizing and tender cake is a good choice as a cold appetizer or quick dinner. We can leave it done in advance and leave it in the fridge until it is time to cut it and serve it. What's more, it should be done this way to make it juicier and more compact.

Ingredients

  • Sliced ​​bread without crust
  • cheese spread
  • dried tomatoes in oil
  • canned artichoke hearts
  • salsa pesto
  • chopped nuts

Preparation

  1. We put in a mold a first layer of sliced ​​bread without crust. We extend cream cheese and cover with more bread.

  2. Mix the chopped artichokes with the pesto. This hash will serve us to prepare another layer of the cake.

  3. The other type of filling is prepared by finely chopping the tomatoes in oil and mixing them with part of the cheese.

  4. When we have the cake made from layers of bread and filling, we decorate it with cream cheese and a few chopped nuts.

  5. Let the cake rest in the fridge so that the bread becomes tender and the cake compact.
