As a treat or an easy Valentine's Day dessert, we will prepare these cute easily made hearts with jelly. Grace is in combine various flavors, and therefore colors, of gelatin in the same heart-shaped mold.

These Little Chocolate and Fruit Jelly Hearts are the perfect dessert to surprise on Valentine's Day or any special occasion.

Ingredients

  • 400 ml. (semi) skimmed milk
  • 100 ml. liquid cream for cooking (18% fat)
  • 50 gr. pure cocoa powder
  • 75 gr. sugar
  • 6 sheets of neutral gelatin
  • powdered fruit jellies
  • its corresponding amount of liquid in water or milk

Preparation

  1. We started with the chocolate jelly. While we soak the gelatin sheets in cold water, mix the milk with the cream, cocoa powder and sugar.

  2. Dissolve well and pour this preparation into a saucepan.

  3. We put on medium heat to heat the milk without stopping stirring. When the cream starts to boil, remove the saucepan from the heat.

  4. Drain the already soft gelatin from the water well and dilute it very well in the milk.

  5. Pour the chocolate into the heart molds (or ice cream makers) (the amount introduced will depend on the combination of colors and flavors you want for the little hearts) and let the gelatin cool to room temperature. When it cools down completely, we put it in the fridge.

  6. Meanwhile, prepare the fruit jellies following the instructions on their packaging. When we have the liquid prepared, we pour it over the chocolate jelly, which must already be curdled. We let the colored jellies solidify in the refrigerator.

  7. We can make the jelly hearts in reverse, that is to say, first putting the fruit in the molds and then the chocolate.

Notes

Unmold problems: Put the mold in very hot water so that the gelatin detaches from the walls.
