These croquettes can become the favorites of your children. They have a delicate flavor, they are creamy on the inside, crunchy on the outside ... and they have something that little ones like a lot: Ham and cheese.

Can be frozen. Once coated, place them on a tray covered with greaseproof paper, leaving a small space between each croquette. When they are frozen you can store them in plastic bags. In this way, when you need them, you will have them separated and ready to fry.

Ingredients
- 100 butter g
- 100 g of wheat flour
- 1 liter of milk
- 120 g of cooked ham
- 1 ball of mozzarella
- Nutmeg
- Sal Island
- Egg and breadcrumbs for the batter
- Sunflower oil for frying
Preparation
Cut the mozzarella into small pieces and let it drain.
We heat the milk in a saucepan.
We put the butter in a large pan and let it melt by putting the pan on the fire.
Once melted, add the flour and sauté it for one or two minutes.
We are adding the milk, little by little, continuing to mix to avoid lumps from forming.
We add the salt and the nutmeg.
We chop the ham.
We add the ham and mozzarella to the béchamel we have in the pan. Mix well and continue cooking for a few more minutes.
We put the extended dough on a tray and let it cool. Once cold, we form the croquettes and pass them through egg and breadcrumbs.
We fry them in plenty of sunflower oil.
