These fun guacamole canapés in the shape of a fir tree are an easy and quick appetizer to prepare, since we will do it with already prepared ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Pita bread
  • salty pretzel sticks
  • guacamole
  • Greek yogurt or cream cheese
  • red bell pepper or black olives for garnish

Preparation

  1. We cut each pita bread into 4-6 triangles, depending on the size we want to give the canapés.

  2. We inserted half a salty stick in the center of the bottom of each wedge to form the trunk of a tree. We put the bread in the toaster or grill.

  3. Prepare the filling cream by mixing the guacamole with the yogurt or cheese and spread the pita bread.

  4. Decorate with the pepper or very chopped olives.

Notes

Another idea: Decorate the fir trees with garlands of sauces such as ketchup, mayonnaise or mustard.
