Another «jelly» dessert with agar-agar. This gelling algae It has many applications in the kitchen since it has no flavor, and therefore allows any preparation, sweet or salty, hot or cold.

Agar agar is more convenient to buy in powder form, from herbalists or specialized food stores.

Ingredients

  • 500 ml. strained orange juice
  • 500 ml. apple juice
  • Manzana 1
  • 6 fresas
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 plátano
  • 10 gr. agar agar powder (or 12 gelatin sheets)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla aroma

Preparation

  1. Heat the orange and apple juice, add the agar-agar and stir with the whisk while it boils slightly until there are no lumps. Add the vanilla and continue beating. Let stand off the heat for a couple of minutes.

  2. Place half of the chopped fruit in the bottom of a mold or cup, or several, and add the juice. Add the rest of the fruit on top. Let the gelatin cool for about 5 minutes before taking it to the fridge.

  3. We wait a couple of hours before unmolding and serving.
