I love this recipe, I love it so much that I couldn't stop sharing it with you. It's a recipe very simple, but nobody is as rich as my mother ... although I do it at home for my family and it's good, it always seems to me that no mashed potatoes is like that of my motherI don't know, it will be because of the affection she gives him when doing it or because she is "my mother" ... but like hers there are none.

What I like the most is that although we had no foresight to do it, in 10 minutes we will have it ready. Sometimes, if someone at home feels like it, we improvise it and for a few minutes we are already enjoying it. So we do not have to resort to commercial mashed potatoes which, although I must admit that it is not bad and that children like it a lot, it is always better to make it homemade.

Ingredients

• 3 large potatoes
• 300 g of salted water
• 100g milk
• 2 level tablespoons butter
• salt to taste
• the juice of 1/2 lemon

Preparation

1. We peel the potatoes and cut them into quarters. We put them in an express pot and we add the water to them.

2. We close the pot and program it in power / ring 1 for 8-10 minutes. We depressurize the pot and, WITHOUT THROWING THE COOKING WATER, we check that the potatoes are well cooked by pricking them with a knife. If they are still hard, we program them for a few more minutes.

3. Put the potatoes and milk in a bowl and mash with a fork or a masher. We are gradually adding cooking water to facilitate the texture of the puree. If you like it more or less thick, add more or less water.

4. Now we add the butter and the lemon juice and finish mixing well. We rectify salt.
