Only five ingredients are needed to prepare this nougat-based Christmas dessert. Have you ever tried a pannacotta? It is an Italian dessert made from cream ("panna") cooked briefly ("cotta") that is curdled with gelatin.

150 gr. hard or soft nougat
250 ml. liquid cream
250 ml. milk
3 gelatin sheets
30 gr. sugar

Preparation

We will start the recipe by chopping the nougat in an electric food processor, if possible.
Soak the gelatin in cold water for about 5 minutes to soften it.
Put the cream together with the milk on the heat and heat without letting it boil. Add the sugar and dissolve it on the fire. Then, we add the ground nougat and dilute it, constantly stirring the entire mixture, without letting it boil.
Add the well-drained gelatin leaves to the nougat cream, once off the heat. We dilute it well in the mixture.
We put the nougat panacotta in one or more molds and let it cool to room temperature before putting it in the fridge.
