The only "bad" thing about this sliced bread recipe is that you have to wait two days to sink your teeth into it. The grace of this cake is the tender, compact and juicy texture that is achieved by keeping it pressed with a weight on top of it in the fridge for several days. We can fill the bread with smoked fish, tuna, pickles ... They should be ingredients that do not make the bread too moist and that remain in good condition during the days of refrigeration of the cake.
