Soft nougat flan

Preparation

1. First of all, preheat the oven to a temperature of about 175 degrees.

2. We put a large saucepan with water inside to carry out the bain-marie so that when we put our mold with the flan inside, the water must reach the same height as it.

3. To prepare the flan, pour the milk and the chopped nougat into the blender until a fine cream is obtained.

4. Separately we beat the eggs with the sugar using the rods to obtain a foamy and whitened cream.

5. We mix both preparations, that is, the nougat cream and the eggs. Before pouring the flan cream into the mold, we add caramel.

6. We will cover the mold with its lid or with aluminum foil and introduce it into the saucepan with water. Cook the flan for approximately 1 hour.

7. We will prick the flan with a toothpick or fork and if we see that the flan is consistent, we can remove it from the oven and let it cool to room temperature before refrigerating it.
