Special pasta cake, we prepare it with rigatoni


  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 250 gr of turkey cubes
  • 3 dientes de ajo chopped
  • Half a red bell pepper, diced
  • Half an onion in pieces
  • A little bit of salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 250 gr of crushed natural tomato
  • 500 gr of rigatoni macaroni
  • 150 gr of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 150 gr of grated mozzarella cheese

Make macaroni cake is now possible. It is treated in a different way to prepare a good pasta dish, with the incentive that we are going to present it as if it were a real cake. You sure love it at home, so go ahead and prepare it.


Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Warm up a little extra virgin olive oil in a frying pan and add the onion in pieces, the red pepper in pieces, the crushed garlic and the turkey cubes. Let everything simmer, now add the minced meat, a little salt and the ground pepper. Sauté everything until the meat is cooked and add the crushed tomato. Let everything be done for approximately 15-18 minutes until we see that the tomato has released all the water and has reduced.

Once we have it, leave it reserved.

In a casserole Cook the rigatoni macaroni, make them so that they are al dente. Drain the pasta and rinse with cold water. Mix the pasta with the Parmesan cheese while you grease a round mold.


Place the standing rigatoni in the mold one by one until they are all well placed and tight. Pour the tomato and meat sauce over the pasta and let it go through each of the holes in the rigatoni.


Put the cake in the oven for about 15 minutes, and once these 15 minutes have passed, Take out the cake and top with the mozzarella cheese.

Let it be bake at 180 degrees for another 10 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
