Ingredients

A package of shortcrust dough
350 gr of pitted cherries
1 egg and 1 yolk
75 g of icing sugar
2 tablespoons sugar
100 ml of liquid cream
Butter to grease the mold
200 gr chopped almonds

Preparation

Prepare a bowl and add the cream, the egg, the icing sugar, and beat with the help of the mixer until all the ingredients are homogeneous.
Wash the cherries, remove the stem and pit them. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, and grease the mold you are going to use with a little butter.
Place the broken dough on the counter, and stretch it with the help of a roller. Put it on the mold, and pour inside the cream mixture with the ingredients that we have prepared, and place the cherries on top, mixing well with each other. Sprinkle the cake with sugar.
Beat the egg yolk with about two tablespoons of water, and brush the edges of the dough. Add the chopped almonds to those edges, and bake for about 15 minutes at 200 degrees.
