What is special about this tiramisu recipe other than the Whiskey cream flavor? Well what it does not contain an egg. The classic tiramisu is prepared with an egg yolk cream and stiff whites. However, to prepare this appropriate Valentine's Day recipe, We opted for cream, which further softens the liqueur flavor of the dessert. The rest of the tiramisu, as always.

Ingredients

  • 250 gr. Mascarpone cheese
  • 150 ml. whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons of powder sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoons whiskey cream
  • 24 savoiardi or sole sponge cakes (approximately)
  • 150 ml. espresso or strong coffee
  • cocoa for dusting

Preparation

  1. Mix the mascarpone with the vanilla extract, the liquor and a couple of tablespoons of coffee. Beat with the whisk until the cream is well combined. Then, we mix it with the sugar and beat again until it is integrated and slightly assembled.

  2. We whip the cream with the rods and add it to the previous cream. We reserve this prepared in the fridge.

  3. We wet the biscuits with the rest of the coffee, without soaking them too much.

  4. We choose the mold or containers in which we are going to serve the dessert and cover them with a bottom of biscuits. On top, we put a layer of cream. We repeat this operation until we run out of ingredients and, yes, leaving cream on top. We refrigerate a few hours so that the dessert takes on more flavor and is compact.

  5. Sprinkle with cocoa before serving.

    This recipe has a huge flaw: SOLETILLA CAKES CONTAIN EGG !!!!!!!!
    Be careful with this, because even if egg is not used in the cream, the cakes do.
