Cod, tasty fish where they exist, is very typical in Portuguese cuisine, from which we have collected this recipe for golden cod. It is a dish that costs little work to make and that will very comfortable and delicious to eat for children, since it consists of a scrambled eggs with potatoes, onion and very shredded cod.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of desalted and crumbled cod
  • 500 grams of potatoes
  • 1 cebolla
  • 4 eggs
  • oil

Preparation

  1. First we must prepare the potatoes as we would do to make straw potatoes, that is, cut very finely and fry them.

  2. We must leave them poached, as if they were for tortilla

  3. Chop the onion and sauté until transparent

  4. Add the crumbled cod, sauté, and then add the potatoes

  5. We beat the eggs and curdle to taste, not much so that it is juicy

  6. As for salt, it is better to add a pinch and each one add it at the table, we already know that cod is a very salty fish.

    Thanks for leaving your recipe. I'll tell you how it fits me. I love cod in all its versions and I tried this recipe in Cádiz and I loved it and I had been thinking about preparing it for a long time.
