Ingredients
- 125 butter g
- 100 g of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 200 g of wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons yeast
- 3 medium apples
- The juice of a lemon
- 100 g walnuts
Preparation
Peel and chop the apples. We put them in a source or bowl and add the lemon juice to prevent them from oxidizing. We remove and reserve.
We prepare the 22-centimeter-diameter mold and, if necessary because the mold requires it, we grease it with butter.
We preheat the oven to 180 °.
We spread the walnuts in a bowl and toast them for about 7 or 8 minutes at that temperature.
If the walnuts are very whole, we chop them lightly.
We put the butter at room temperature and the sugar in a bowl.
We mount it with the rods. We incorporate the eggs, one by one, and we continue to mount. We will have to obtain a smooth and creamy mixture like the one seen in the photo.
We incorporate the flour and the yeast using a sieve to sift it and not form lumps.
We mix everything well, with a wooden spoon or with the shovel if we use a mixer.
In the mold that we have prepared at the beginning we spread half of the dough.
We put half of the apple and half of the walnuts on that first layer.
We cover with the rest of the cream.
We put the remaining apple pieces on the surface and also the remaining walnuts.
We bake at 180 ° for 50-60 minutes.
