Chocolate brownie cake for Halloween

The little ones love the Chocolate brownie and we have already got the hang of the recipe. Why complicate ourselves on Halloween night? We will make a fun brownie-based cake to which we will add a showy topping of orange cheese to dress it up for the occasion.

If you want to prepare a special dessert on Halloween, this Chocolate Brownie Cake will surprise everyone with its flavor and its original appearance.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of flour
  • the tip of a baking powder knife
  • 1 cup of chopped walnuts.

For FROSTING:

  • 125 gr. cheese spread
  • 250 ml. whipping cream
  • 75 gr. icing sugar
  • a few drops of vanilla aroma
  • orange (or red and yellow) food coloring
  • chocolate syrup to decorate

Preparation

  1. Melt the butter over low heat and add the chocolate chips to melt them.

  2. Off the heat, and over this cream, pour the sugar and beat with the electric whisk. Then add the eggs and lightly beat to mount the mixture a bit.

  3. Finally we incorporate the sifted flour with the yeast. We integrate it well into the dough and add the chopped nuts.

  4. Pour the dough into a tart pan lined with non-stick paper and cook it in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for 30 minutes or until the center is pierced and the needle comes out dry.

  5. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, out of the oven. Next, we unmold the brownie and place it on a wire rack to cool it completely.

  6. We spread the frosting on the cake, which is prepared by beating all the ingredients with the electric whisk. First we will mix the sugar with the cheese and on this paste we will dilute the cream. We beat to aerate the cream and add the vanilla and the coloring. We spread the cake with this cream.

  7. To decorate, we can put threads of melted chocolate and give it a herringbone effect, dragging the motif down with a toothpick.

    I will prepare panellets, typical of Catalonia roasted chestnuts and roasted sweet potatoes, the panellets are very good.
