These easy cinnamon cookies They can be made without eggs because the dough itself does not have it. We have used it to paint the surface but, if you do not have this ingredient or do not want to include it, they can also be prepared by painting them with a little milk.
In fact, they are painted so that both the sugar and cinnamon.
As you will see in the step-by-step photos, to prepare them we will not need a kitchen robot. Nor to shape them. We will only use a mixing spoon and a knife to make the cuts.

Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 50 g of sugar
- 150 g cold butter and in pieces
- 100 hours of cold water
- Egg to paint the surface (optional)
And for the surface:
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
Preparation
Put the flour and sugar in a large bowl. Mix with a wooden spoon.
Add cold water and cold butter as well. We begin to mix with the spoon, quickly so that the ingredients do not heat up.
We continue to integrate everything with our hands.
We wrap the dough in film and reserve it in the refrigerator.
After approximately half an hour we take it out of the fridge and remove the film. Divide the dough into two portions (to make it easier for us to work with).
Stretch the first portion between two sheets of baking paper.
We cut it into triangles or squares, as you prefer. Paint beaten egg yolk and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
We do the same with the other half of the dough (we extend it, cut it…)
Bake (preheated oven) at 180º for 15-20 minutes, until we see that the cookies are golden.
