Ingredients

  • 400 gr. pasta
  • 3 cans of canned tuna, drained
  • 250 gr. canned chopped tomato pulp
  • 1 garlic clove
  • grated lemon peel
  • oregano
  • oil
  • shawl

Preparation

  1. We begin by lightly browning the minced garlic in a saucepan with its bottom covered in oil.

  2. Then, add the drained tomato and cook slowly until all the liquid evaporates and we have a thick sauce.

  3. We salt during cooking and rectify the acidity with sugar if necessary

  4. Add the tuna and leave on low heat for 5 more minutes

  5. A couple of minutes before serving the sauce, season with oregano and a touch of lemon zest

  6. Add the sauce to the pasta boiled al dente in salted water for the time indicated on the package and drained well.
